Juggling
Hmmmmm, today was a prime example of the complications we have working (6 P/T or self employed jobs between us), home educating and just living.
So this morning’s issue is:
1. Jonathan needs to get to horse riding at 12.30 (luckily a friend is taking them)
2. I have to get to a Skills 4 Life meeting
3. Ruth needs to get to a zoology session with a friend (luckily it’s near my meeting)
4. Martin has to work and get to a meeting
So I have no-one to look after Jonathan when Martin and I are at work and my time and Ruth’s time don’t quite add up. So Jonathan to friend’s early (thank God for friends). Bex at home doing something on computer. Drop Ruth at friends. Go to meeting. Get Ruth (late and have a chat with friend’s dad), get home – Bex there, Martin home – get lunch. Watch factoring video with girls, check we have felting stuff for Weds afternoon. Jonathan back and on computer. Listen to afternoon play (thank God for the iPlayer too – seriously!) and do dishes and prep dinner. Kids to dentist with Martin. Listen to another play and sort out washing.
Tonight – want to watch Cranford with girls but also sort out all the photocopying I did for the numeracy course and at least get the paperwork into piles of sensible stuff.
Phew!

Sounds very familiar!
Ye and I forgot to mention we had to get dinner ready at just the right moment so Martin could eat it between the dentists and going out to his Street Pastors meeting tonight!
