Pancakes all day here.


Scotch pancakes for breakfast with home made apple a sloe gin jelly or Sue’s lovely bottled apple sauce.



For lunch on Shrove Tuesday we always have frittaten soup having got a recipe for this from Great Granny.



Over the last few years we’ve started a new tradition of inviting friends over for pancakes in the evening so all afternoon I’ve been making pancakes to stuff with roast vegetables in brandy sauce and we’ve been experimenting with vegan chocolate brownie pancakes so we can be ready for a lovely evening meal.


 Rebekah also made some vegan chocolate sauce to go with the sweet pancakes later.
