After a lengthy and somewhat tedious journey we arrived down a farm track at our first cottage. We loved it at Helford passage, only about 3 other houses around and not even a shop at the village and the beautiful Trebah Gardens with private beach at the bottom of the driveway. You canget an idea of how quiet we were here you can just see the roof of the cottage in the background here.
It was lovely and peaceful here.
The first day we visited the gardens
and were so glad we did as the private beach was lovely and we collected loads and loads of sea glass too.
We just spent the rest of the week mooching about the gardens and beach, walking, playing games, reading and generally chilling out!
We did manage to get a little boat across to the dizzy heights of Helford Village where they even have a shop and tea rooms. They also had a brilliantly low tech method for calling the ferry!
After this we moved on to Port Isaac vis the Eden Project.
