Thanks Sue – I do think of you as very together even though I’ve only met you once irl! Most Susan’s I know are like it actually – very interesting. I think as well as doing ourselves a disservice by seeming to always be together it can actually put pressure on others to behave like they are also together even when they are not.

(((hug))) I can SO relate! I, too, tend to put on an organised front, but every so often something (usually, in the scheme of things, is relatively minor) will trip me over to a blubbering mess. I don’t like it at all and don’t in the least want any of my friends to see me that way.. .but equally it feels like slightly unfair pressure, sometimes, to be known as ‘reliable’ and ‘together’ and all that stuff. I think personally it goes along with the name ‘Susan’, as in Swallows and Amazons etc.

I just intended to give you a virtual hug but somehow got carried away there…

Perhaps you’re right Annie- I would have posted one this morning though. Been listening to the Afternoon Drama Number 10 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01c7rq2 and wondering if all of their plot lines are taken from the West Wing or if politics is really just a constant loop never changing at least since the time of Yes Minister!

I saw it! I’m subscribed via Google Reader and though I don’t check it every day, I do skim down from time to time. Saw this post, so came to your blog to comment

I did also consider giving up FB for Lent. But I don’t post that many statuses, and do like it for staying loosely in touch with friends around the world. Also for posting photos and blog links. But am attempting to cut down!
