The huts at Thorness Bay are something of a recurring theme on our blog, but on this occasion it is Martin posting about them, not Susan. We’re just back from a great evening at Heron Hut, with extremely grateful thanks to the Bailey-Oliver’s for the ongoing generous sharing of their wonderful space. I spent most of the evening sat on the veranda watching the sun go down – pure bliss. Joe (being the loon he is) decided to do a spot of fire-breathing. The sight of him breathing fire into the sunset was really quite stunning, so I quickly had a go at capturing it on film (or what passes for it in the digital age). Quite pleased with the results.
